Job Description
Vivian Health is seeking a Principal Data Scientist to lead the creation and deployment of machine learning models for content ranking. This role focuses on balancing business rules with predictive algorithms to deliver a positive user experience and drive business outcomes. Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in applied machine learning or data science
- 3+ years in consumer-scale applications
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience with SageMaker, Airflow, and DBT (or equivalent ML/data orchestration platforms)
- Proven track record of training, deploying, and scaling models in production
- Deep understanding of statistical methods for experimental design and A/B testing
- Experience with real-time inference pipelines and ranking/recommendation systems
