Job Description
We are looking for a hands-on Data Protection Officer to join Volka as our first DPO. The Data Protection Officer will be responsible for GDPR and international privacy compliance, privacy documentation, advising teams, and regulatory monitoring.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English
- 4-6 years' experience in legal and data protection/privacy roles
- Strong knowledge of GDPR and key international privacy frameworks
- Experience implementing GDPR and data protection measures in a business environment
- Ability to translate legal and privacy requirements into practical, business-focused solutions
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly to non-legal stakeholders
- Excellent drafting and record-keeping skills, including creating and maintaining privacy policies, procedures and notices
- Comfortable working independently, taking ownership and driving matters end-to-end
