Requirements
- Engineering work on RFQs received from customers
- Study drawings & specifications received in RFQs
- Prepare technical feasibility study
- Communicate with customer to get technical clarity
- Prepare detailed BOM, identify manufacturing process steps and identify machines & equipment required to manufacture wire harness products
- Identify product validation requirements stated by customer & create validation plan.
- Estimate validation cost
- Identify missing details like drawings, components, specifications etc
- Support technical sales.and business development activities
- Maintain all technical (RFQ) project data in SIEMENS Team Center software
- Initiate engineering change requests (ECR), execute ECR in co-ordination with CFT and maintain ECN records
- Ensure to meet customer milestones (costing, feasibility, etc.)
- Handover the (RFQ project based) engineering data after project nomination to the development team
- Team player spirit to support engineering team members in problem solving and cross functional activities
