Teaching Assistant - Floater

Volunteers of America-Greater New York is an anti-poverty organization seeking a Teacher Assistant to assist classroom teacher in instruction, documentation, and student safety. The position is based at the Bronx Early Learning Center, a special education preschool.

Requirements

• High School graduate
• New York State Certification as a Teacher Assistant
• Work cooperatively as member of team
• Communicate with parents verbally and in writing
• Participate in staff development activities
• Attend team meeting conferences as appropriate
• Follow policies and procedures of school
