Truckee Navigation Center - Community Care Associate

The Truckee Navigation Center is seeking a Community Care Associate to provide daily support to participants, including meal preparation, room assignments, and emergency assistance. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to de-escalate crises and maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate and comprehend oral and written instructions
• Providing services to difficult participants without ethnic or social prejudices
• Knowledge of issues and challenges unique to homelessness, substance abuse, women, minorities, and persons with disabilities
• Flexibility to work irregular hours
• Ability to function both independently and in a team environment effectively
