Job Description
Vonage is seeking a Communications Engineer to support the growth and maintenance of their AWS cloud platform, which connects brands with customers and partners. The role involves designing, enhancing, and maintaining SIP networks, troubleshooting communication issues, and ensuring project success in collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders. This is a go-gether role where innovation and technological advancement are encouraged.
Requirements
- At least 3+ years of experience in network configuration and configuration of SIP network elements.
- Expertise in VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP, SRTP, RTCP, DNS) and networks like Opensips/Kamalio.
- Experience with Linux and scripting languages (Shell, Python).
- Knowledge of databases (MySQL).
- Experience with network sniffers like tcpdump/Wireshark/VoipMonitor.
