Job Description
Vortexa is seeking a Platform Engineer to join their team and focus on the developer platform, working with Amazon AWS infrastructure. The role involves analyzing and optimizing technology stacks, ensuring 100% uptime and fault tolerance of the platform, and optimizing AWS costs. The team works with data-intensive solutions, leveraging Kubernetes, Kafka, and Terraform to deliver a developer-friendly experience.
Requirements
- Troubleshooting unfamiliar code
- Familiarity with Kubernetes
- AWS power user and evangelist
- Fluent in Terraform
- Excellent at troubleshooting unfamiliar code
- Familiarity with Apache Kafka and Kafka Streams
- Experienced with ElasticSearch operations
- Understanding data lakes (Parquet, Orc, Athena)
- Cloud-native application design and deployment
- Ability to handle challenges and infrastructure troubleshooting
