Job Description
VRX, Inc. is a woman-owned professional services firm certified as a WBE and HUB, providing turnkey services to the public and private sectors. The company is looking for a Resident Engineer to lead the construction inspection staff and provide technical support to the Department Manager/Regional Manager/Project Manager.
Requirements
- Strong written, oral, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, independent, and strong leadership personality
- BSc degree in engineering from an accredited college
- PE License NYS
- 5 years of relevant experience in construction inspection or management of infrastructure construction projects
- Prior experience in the reconstruction/rehabilitation of roadways and highways, utility work, as well as installation and replacement of sewers and water mains
- Prior experience with NYCDOT and NYCDDC is a strong plus
- Certifications such as ACI, SAT, TCP, ICC, AWS, NICET, and OSHA 30 hours are preferred
