Ruby on Rails Consultant

We are seeking a Ruby on Rails Consultant for a 12-month contract to expand an existing Ruby on Rails application and incorporate new features. The role involves front-end and back-end development, meeting contract deliverables, and working closely with customers.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in the field or related area
• Bachelor's degree in a related area
• Ruby and JavaScript development
• Ruby on Rails development
• Writing tests
• Generating ad hoc reports for clients
• Providing daily status updates to the team
• Following change management workflows
• Participation in client meetings for requirements gathering and demos of finished work
• Presence on internal IM system during work hours
