Job Description
Vulcan is seeking a Shift Leader for the chemical pilot plant in Frankfurt am Main, responsible for commissioning and operation of a pilot plant for lithium extraction. The role involves leading a team in the shift operation, organizing tasks, contributing to pilot campaign goals, and connecting work with context. Training and practical experience are highly valued.
Requirements
- Completed study in process engineering, chemistry, or similar
- Apprenticeship in a chemist or equivalent, plus shift leadership experience
- Several years of experience in applied research and development
- Knowledge of absorption processes and ion exchange units (ideal)
- Analytical thinking and self-organized work style
- Good German and English skills (plus)
