Job Description
Berkley Southeast is seeking a Senior Middle Market Underwriter to evaluate and manage risk acceptability and profitability within the company's underwriting guidelines. The role involves strategic decision-making, mentoring, and partnership with agents to support marketing activities and resolve agency-related issues. Requirements
- 5-10 years commercial lines underwriting experience, including CGL, Property, Packages, BOP, Auto, Crime, IM, Umbrella, and WC.
- CPCU Designation or other equivalent coursework preferred.
- Good organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize.
- Comprehensive knowledge of commercial lines products and contract knowledge.
- Strong computer skills and ability to work with multi-faceted systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships.
