Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a passionate RN to join their Medical Surgical unit. This role involves coordinating patient care from assessment to evaluation, focusing on compassion and contributing to an exceptional patient experience. The unit includes 8 Reynolds Tower, 9 North Tower A/B, 10 Ardmore East, 8 North B, and 5 Cancer Center West-Transplant Surgery units.

Requirements

• Graduation from accredited School of Nursing
• Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina Board of Nursing
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 1 year of hire (Adult ED), PALS (Network ED, Peds ED, PICU, NICU, etc.)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 1 year of hire (Network ED, Peds ED, PICU, NICU, and other areas)
• Ability to provide direct and indirect patient care
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Solid written and oral communication skills

• Work Environment tolerance for moderate to high stress levels
• Handling emergency or crisis situations
