Walbridge is looking for an Assistant Superintendent to help lead and manage large-scale construction projects. This includes overseeing the entire project lifecycle from feasibility to completion, developing project strategies, plans, and budgets, and assembling qualified project teams.
Requirements
- Project Planning and Strategy: Plan and supervise construction activities, including determining methods, manpower, materials, equipment, and schedules.
- Team Leadership: Coordinate work with different crafts, departments, or contractors. Resolve construction problems and maintain communication with unions.
- Resource Management: Monitor compliance with safety programs and document corrective measures. Ensure materials, equipment, and inspections support project schedules.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, clients, and vendors, to ensure alignment and address any concerns.
- Performance Monitoring: Track project progress through metrics and reporting, adjusting plans as necessary to meet changing requirements or challenges.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet the required quality standards and compliance regulations.
- Innovation and Improvement: Continuously seek ways to optimize processes and improve project outcomes through innovative technologies or methodologies.
