Washington County Mental Health Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled clinician to provide therapeutic and case management services to youth with severe emotional and behavioral challenges.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in human service field required.
- Clinical or license track as a psychologist, social worker, or clinical mental health counselor preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a safe, reliable, insured vehicle required.
- Ability to work within a team with effective interpersonal skills and communicate effectively with teammates and colleagues within WCMHS and external partners required.
- Willing and able to satisfactorily complete specialized physical and verbal de-escalation training required.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds required.
- Willing to learn crisis de-escalation and passive restraint techniques required.
- Capability to complete Handle With Care training to the satisfaction of a Handle With Care instructor required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
- Commitment to the WCMHS mission and positive regard for individuals accessing services required.
