Expediter & Lead Food Runner

The Washington Golf and Country Club is seeking an Expediter & Lead Food Runner to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely food delivery to guests. This role is a key liaison between the kitchen and front-of-house teams, coordinating orders, prioritizing service flow, and mentoring other food runners. The position involves both manual and leadership responsibilities.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a food runner, expediter, or similar high-volume hospitality role.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
• In-depth knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and plating standards.
• Ability to lead by example, motivate others, and maintain a positive team atmosphere.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry multiple plates for extended periods.
• Working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, requiring nights, weekends, and holiday availability.
• Full-time or part-time availability.
