Insurance Billing/Collection Assistant II (Hybrid) - Physician Billing Services

Perform follow-up on insurance billing and collection activities, verifying accuracy and completeness of insurance records and claims, and contacting insurance companies to expedite payments for physician services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience
• 2 years of experience in bookkeeping/accounting and/or medical collection setting
• Working knowledge of computers, general office equipment, telephone console, medical terminology, collection techniques, and communication skills
