ASL Driver (Garbage Truck) (Opa Locka FL)

Waste Connections is hiring a Automated Side Load/Automated Front Load Driver in Opa Locka, FL. Pay is $23-$25/hr DOE, with a typical schedule of Monday – Friday, and occasional Saturdays. Duties include safely operating a garbage truck, collecting and disposing of waste, and interacting with customers.

Requirements

• Safely operate a Automated Side Load/Automated Front Load garbage truck on specified routes
• Ensure accurate and timely collection and disposal of waste
• Interact courteously with customers
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during collection and disposal
• Maintain cleanliness of the truck and work area
• Follow route sheets and service each customer assigned by the dispatcher
