Renewable Gas Plant Manager

The Plant Manager will oversee daily operations of the landfill RNG facility, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, optimizing plant performance, and managing staff and contractors.

Requirements

• Manage day-to-day operations of the landfill RNG plant
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for plant equipment
• Monitor gas flow, quality, and emissions to meet contractual and regulatory requirements
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports, notifications, and stakeholder communications
• Lead and develop plant and wellfield staff, contractors, and vendors
• Coordinate with engineering and environmental teams on system upgrades and expansions
• Manage budgets, procurement, and operational cost controls
• Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, utility partners, and community stakeholders
