Job Description
Waymo is seeking a Systems Test Engineer, Sensing to validate and verify sensor systems, including lidar, camera, and radar. The role involves designing and executing automated tests, writing reusable software, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Waymo is focused on building the Waymo Driver and improving access to mobility through autonomous ride-hailing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in physics, engineering, or other technical field
- 8 years of equivalent practical experience
- Experience in data analysis using Python or other high-level languages
- Experience in writing testable and maintainable software
- Experience with systems engineering verification and validation (V&V)
