Job Description
The Engineer-Senior Licensed Professional in the Structure Maintenance Section of Roads Maintenance Division is responsible for engineering operations for bridges, pump stations, culverts, and other structures in the Wayne County Roads system. This role involves ensuring safety, longevity, and compliance with federal and state regulations. The position includes inspecting structures, calculating load ratings, generating repair costs, and assisting in meetings and training.
Requirements

- Review plans, determine repair/maintenance scope
- Calculate bridge load ratings
- Assist in MDOT/county meetings
