Regulatory Compliance Specialist (Americas)

Join WD-40 Company as a Regulatory Compliance Specialist and ensure our iconic products meet complex regional regulations. In this role, you'll interpret intricate compliance requirements, develop packaging and labeling strategies, manage multi-jurisdictional product registrations, and serve as a trusted liaison with regulatory agencies and external partners.

Requirements

• Manage complex chemical registrations, compliance and notifications across multiple jurisdictions.
• Develop and implement regulatory product profiles and strategies and procedures for packaging and labeling compliance for regional application within global best practices.
• Respond to formulation compliance concerns.
• Interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements to product development and lifecycle management.
• Interpret ambiguous country specific regulatory requirements, developing organizational positions in areas of uncertainty, and influencing commercial decision-making to reduce regulatory risk while enabling business growth.
• Lead the preparation and submission of complex regulatory reports, documents and filings.
• Prepare regulatory documents (with or without external expertise), ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Conduct regulatory risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
• Act as an internal regulatory compliance expert and provide advice as and when necessary.
• Coach and educate junior team members and/or other departments on regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders.
