Weber Shandwick is looking for a talented Senior Manager to join the Social Impact team in our London office. The role involves working on a portfolio of impactful global organisations, executing integrated campaigns involving strategy, earned media, creative, social and digital.
Requirements
- Delivering integrated communications strategies across topics such as global health, development, humanitarian and / or environmental issues.
- Developing and drafting media strategies, press releases, reactive media statements, talking points, FAQs, memos, crisis plans, and other deliverables as needed.
- Overseeing and executing proactive media outreach and reactive media relations strategies as needed.
- Leading and managing multiple integrated work streams and partner with clients to deliver on time/on budget work plans with minimal supervision on complex global Social Impact issues.
- Serving as the day-to-day client contact, flagging, triaging and managing client issues as they arise.
- Overseeing project management, maintaining overall account tracker and other trackers as needed.
- Proactively supporting and suggesting ideas and improvements to exceed client expectations by leveraging sector knowledge/experience.
- Demonstrating creative problem solving and teamwork.
- Building and leading productive relationships internally, with interagency teams, and a diverse array of agency colleagues.
- Participating in brainstorms and planning.
- Supporting new business pitch content creation and organic business growth efforts.
- Honing presentation skills, participating in pitches when possible.
- Developing budgets, supporting analysis of budget and time entry, and account invoicing.
- Assisting in financial management for clients, including development of invoices and activity reports to maintain profitability of engagements.
