Head of Finance (m/f/d)

The Head of Finance will be responsible for managing the Finance & Controlling department, including budget planning, financial reporting, and people management. The ideal candidate will have a degree in business administration, over 8 years of experience in finance and controlling, and a broad understanding of financial processes. They will also have experience with agile leadership methods, international cooperation, and a strong knowledge of German accounting and tax regulations.

Requirements

• Successfully completed degree in business administration or similar, including a specialization in finance
• Over 8 years of experience in finance and controlling, including at least 4 years of professional experience in a senior finance position
• Broad understanding of all financial processes, from controlling to financial accounting
• Very good knowledge of German accounting and tax regulations
• Strategic business understanding and experience as part of a senior management team
• Experience with agile leadership methods and the technical management of a decentralized team
• Very good knowledge of setting up and developing a finance team and the further development and automation of administrative finance processes
• International background or experience in international cooperation
• Excellent written and spoken German skills, as well as fluent English
• Nice to have: knowledge of DATEV
