Job Description
Weekday is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing scalable CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and maintaining cloud infrastructure. Candidates should have a strong automation-first mindset and hands-on experience with cloud technologies.
Requirements
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
- Develop tools and scripts using Python and either Node.js, Go, or Shell scripting.
- Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
- Manage both SQL and NoSQL databases including MySQL and MongoDB.
- Ensure cloud and Kubernetes infrastructure security best practices are followed.
