Job Description
The Certified Nursing Assistant/Health Unit Coordinator (CNA/HUC) provides direct and indirect patient care in Med/Surg/OB/Swing Bed settings, assisting patients with daily living, providing personal care, and performing clinical skills under RN guidance. The role involves maintaining regulatory compliance, improving performance, and participating in departmental/medical initiatives.
Requirements
- Maintains current CNA licensure in the state of Idaho
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to use sound judgment and cope with potentially stressful situations
- Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with standards of performance improvement and organizational values
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Basic computer knowledge
- Knowledge of medical terminology
