Job Description
Weiser Memorial hospital is seeking a full-time CT/Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans and routine X-rays, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
Requirements
- Perform CT and routine diagnostic radiographic procedures.
- Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively.
- Apply radiation safety principles (ALARA).
- Explain procedures to patients and obtain necessary consent forms.
- Schedule and prepare patients for imaging exams.
- Record and verify patient history and exam information.
- Properly position patients using appropriate devices.
- Select appropriate techniques and protocols for each exam.
- Manipulate and reconstruct images to best visualize anatomy.
- Review and evaluate image quality before sending to the radiologist.
- Adhere to hospital safety, infection control, and security protocols.
