Senior Fund Controller, Alternative Funds

Wellington Management is seeking a Senior Fund Controller to oversee centralized tasks and monthly NAV processes for several Wellington-sponsored Hedge Funds. The role requires collaboration with other Wellington teams and external service providers.

Requirements

• College undergraduate degree, preferably in accounting, finance, or business
• 3-5 + years' experience from public accounting firm, alternative investment firm, private equity, or fund administrator
• Knowledge of partnership accounting, third party distribution, hybrid/side pocket fund structure, and currency hedging concept
• Advanced Excel, Access skills, business intelligence/IT skills using Alteryx, SQL, Tableau or a desire to develop them
• A client service mindset and strong communication skills
