Job Description
The Cath Lab Technologist provides technical support during invasive cardiology procedures, including scrub and hemodynamic monitoring. They perform diagnostic procedures and assist in patient care, maintaining sterile environments and ensuring patient safety. This role requires knowledge of cardiac concepts and clinical practices.
Requirements
- Assist Cardiologist during invasive procedures.
- Perform diagnostic invasive procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
- Maintain operational knowledge of cardiac equipment.
- Prepare and maintain patient care, sterile supplies, and imaging.
- Respond to patient distress and emergency protocols.
- Monitor and record patients' hemodynamic status.
- Adhere to radiation safety policies.
