Job Description
The position is a full-time position (80 hours/pay period) for a Laboratory Supervisor responsible for providing laboratory services to patients in the afternoons. The supervisor manages personnel and coordinates tasks, supervises staff, and follows established protocols. This role involves testing blood bank products and assisting medical staff.
Requirements
- Supervise staff and coordinate activities in the Transfusion Services evening shift.
- Prepare work schedules, assign personnel, and evaluate performance.
- Participate in quality assessment and regulatory inspections.
- Perform blood bank testing and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
