ASSEMBLER I

This is an entry level role to seal cans in a manufacturing environment, requiring mechanical/electrical assembly of small components, soldering experience, and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Must be able to sit for long hours.
• Heating cans with a hot soldering iron to seal lids to the can.
• Solder components and wires to PWB assemblies.
• Must be ok with repetitive work.
• Install PWB's into cases or cans.
• Wire components according to documentation.
• May be required to train other individuals.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Must have circuit board soldering experience.
• Be familiar with general assembly procedures.
• Ability to work under a microscope.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, prints, work instructions (written and/or verbal) and schematics.
• Able to identify electrical components such as resistors, diodes, capacitors, LEDs and transistors.
• Must have good manual dexterity and the ability to work with very small parts.
• Pays attention to detail.
• Will be required to work overtime and/or weekends as required.
• Must be able to work with hazardous chemicals using proper PPE.
