Job Description
The Technician - Data Center role involves performing assigned tasks within a data center, including server setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational functions. Responsibilities include equipment support, RMA processing, physical inspections, and inventory management. Entry-level position where experience in IT is preferred.
Requirements
- Perform weekly sweeps of server and storage equipment
- Diagnose server and storage equipment connectivity issues
- Use collected diagnostic information to engage vendor support
- Manage inventory records and perform regular cycle counts
- Understand and follow incident and change management processes
- Maintain continuous improvement efforts
