West Liberty Foods manufactures hundreds of meat and poultry products. We are currently hiring for a Refrigeration/Utilities Supervisor responsible for maintenance functions to ensure efficient plant operations.
Requirements
- Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of utilities, facilities and production equipment maintenance
- Direct experience with Refrigeration or Maintenance supervision preferred
- Must be able to attend and pass multiple GCAP training courses
- Must be able to become State/DNR certified in potable water treatment and water distribution within a reasonable amount of time after starting in the role
- Strong technical and leadership skills
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop others
- Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands
- Must be able to work with USDA, QA personnel, Production personnel and follow all food safety guidelines and HACCP requirements
