Conduct audits of medical records to verify chronic medical conditions and improve Medicare Risk Adjustments score. Evaluate medical record documentation for additional medical conditions. Requires strong understanding of medical coding and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• Two-year health information technician degree
• Three to five years of experience in a clinical setting
• RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, and/or CPC licenses
