Job Description
This temporary full-time driver/assistant position involves delivering and picking up construction projects, assembling, loading, unloading trucks, and assisting the Warehouse Manager. The role focuses on training and providing support for future warehouse operations, including coordinating deliveries and maintaining a clean warehouse environment. There is a possibility of it becoming permanent, but it currently is slated for the end of 2025.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License, Class A preferred but Class B CDL required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects at one time
- Familiarity with Microsoft office applications, Outlook and Internet research a plus
- Good communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage warehouse operations for multiple branches is a plus
- OSHA 10 hour certification a plus
- HAZMAT certification or willingness to get certified
- Must be willing to work flexible hours
- 5-10 years commercial driving experience is a plus
- Ability to operate a boom truck and have appropriate certification is a plus
- Mechanical ability a plus
