Job Description
Western Container is seeking a Closure Specialist to lead a new venture into compression-molded closures. This opportunity is ideal for experienced closure personnel looking to join a fast-paced Coca-Cola bottling company and contribute to a leading manufacturer of plastic beverage bottles. The position focuses on quality control and safety within a state-of-the-art plastics manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Safely and efficiently operate equipment.
- Ensure equipment is operated within established operating parameters.
- Perform order changes and complete line clearance functions.
- Ensure product is produced according to Quality Control Plans and Quality Standards.
- Perform Quality inspections and procedures.
- Accurately and completely document activities in SPC charting and Downtime database.
- Understand and abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
- Be responsible for achieving safety and quality goals.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
