Device Test Engineer, R&D Engineering

Western Digital is looking for a Device Test Engineer to develop and commercialize radiation hardened memory technology. The role will involve designing electrical test procedures, analyzing test data, and collaborating with CMOS design teams. The ideal candidate will have experience with Python programming, electrical device measurement skills, and a strong scientific collaboration background.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field with relevant professional experience or a Ph.D. with relevant experience.
• Extensive coding experience in Python for instrumentation and data analysis
• Ability to design and optimize electrical test procedures for assessing key performance metrics
• Strong scientific collaboration and communication skills
• Strong hands-on electrical device measurement skills
• Good working knowledge of semiconductor or magnetic device physics
• Ability to innovate
