Summer 2026 Intern - Failure Analysis Engineering

The Summer 2026 Intern - Failure Analysis Engineering role involves identifying causes of HAMR and ePMR HDD failures, analyzing failures, and working with experienced engineers to determine analysis plans and next steps. This position is part of our Early Career program, designed to support individuals beginning their professional career through structured onboarding, mentorship, and development.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing BS/MS degree in (CE, CS or EE) or equivalent experience
• Familiar or some experience with: Electronics Test Equipment, Data Extraction, Data Analysis and Statistics, MatLab, TCL, Python, R, C, or C++
• Strong organization & problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask, take direction, and work within a team
• Strong communication and presentation abilities
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications
