Job Description
The Safety Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all clients, staff, and property at the family homeless shelter. The position reports to the Shift Supervisor and Security Manager of the Facility.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior security experience required
- NYS Security Guard License
- Current 8 Hour Annual Certificate
- Fire Guard License for Shelters preferred
- Certified in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) preferred
- Bilingual English/ Spanish required
