Job Description
Westinghouse Electric Co is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern for the summer of 2026 to support their Columbia location. This is a full-time, onsite position for the summer, focusing on resolving technical issues related to fuel fabrication and supporting project execution. The role involves applying engineering principles and codes, developing calculations, and assisting with field operations.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Completed Sophomore year of college
- Familiarity with the power industry, manufacturing, or chemical plant
- Familiarity with ASME Section VIII, ASME B31.3 criteria
- Demonstrate technical leadership
