Job Description
The Assistant Storeroom Coordinator is responsible for ordering, receiving, handling, and storing food in accordance with current standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Requirements
- Ability to demonstrate organizational skills
- Prior experience in inventory, storeroom, or warehouse operations preferred (especially in a food service or hospitality environment)
- Basic knowledge of food safety, storage, and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification a plus)
- Basic math skills and familiarity with inventory software or spreadsheet tools
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock and documentation
