Environmental Technician will support the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of water treatment systems at Red Hill, including filtration units, pumps, and piping. This hands-on role involves fieldwork such as sampling, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with strict safety and environmental standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in environmental science or water treatment preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science with relevant field experience is a plus.
- 1–3 years of experience in water treatment, environmental remediation, or related field.
- Knowledge of pumps, valves, and filtration systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying terrain and weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain security clearance if required.
- Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Complies with Weston Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies and site-specific safety plans.
