Job Description
Security Officers are responsible for the safety and security of visitors and staff, enforcing Museum rules of conduct and preventing theft, fire, damage, and personal injury. They patrol designated areas, monitor CCTV cameras, and assist with crowd control.
Requirements
- 8 and 16 hour New York State Certification

- ability to stand for long periods
- neat appearance
- fire Security Officer experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current NYS Security Officer License
