Job Description
The Senior Major Gift Officer is a critical part of the Wikimedia Foundation's fundraising team focused on raising major gifts for Wikimedia Foundation and Wikimedia Endowment. This role involves cultivating and securing major gifts, managing a portfolio of prospects, and fostering donor relationships. The role requires both personalized cultivation and email outreach at scale, with a focus on building a pipeline for further giving.
Requirements
- 4 years of successful fundraising experience
- 3+ years of direct major gifts experience
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and accountability
