Animal Care Intern - Summer 2026

We are seeking motivated students to participate in our Animal Care Internship program. You will receive hands-on education and training in animal husbandry or the development and evaluation of animal enrichment.

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Current college student in a degree-granting program
• Interest in biology or a related field with an interest in an animal care career
• Must be available on weekends and holidays
• Ability to represent WCS in a professional manner and to establish and maintain positive, effective working relationships with employees, colleagues, and the general public
