Wild Animal Keeper, Aquarist - Fish & Invertebrates

Maintain living conditions for aquatic animals at the New York Aquarium, including daily care, feeding, and cleaning of exhibits. Participate in education and public programming, and interact with visitors. SCUBA certification required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's of Science degree or equivalent experience
• At least 1-year practical experience working directly with aquatic animals
• Understanding of life support systems and filtration
• SCUBA certification
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and special events
