NYS Certified Math Teacher

Williamsburg Charter High School is seeking a NYS Certified Math Teacher to join their team. The teacher will be responsible for teaching Algebra and Calculus to high school students. The school offers a rigorous and demanding liberal arts education and provides opportunities for professional growth and development.

Requirements

• NYS Certification
• Experience working in an urban school setting
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues and co-teachers
• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field
• 2+ years of lead classroom teacher experience (excludes student teaching and serving as a teaching assistant)
• Experience with planning and/or teaching high school curriculum aligned with Common Core standards and driven by data
