Job Description
Wing is seeking a Tax Accountant to redefine the future of work for companies worldwide. This full-time remote position involves collecting and preparing financial data, assisting with VAT returns, calculating tax liabilities, maintaining records, and leading a tax team. The role requires adherence to tax laws and proactive compliance.
Requirements
- Collect financial data for tax reporting (sales, purchases, payroll taxes).
- Assist in preparing monthly/quarterly VAT returns, withholding tax reports, and other routine filings.
- Calculate tax liabilities and prepare payments to tax authorities.
- Maintain organized tax files (invoices, remittance forms, certificates) to support filings and future audits.
- Lead responses to tax audits by government (BIR), providing requested documents and negotiating with tax officers.
- Analyze financial data to identify tax optimization strategies.
- Oversee transfer pricing documentation and policies to comply with regulations.
