Backend Engineer - Node.js

WINGS ICT Solutions is seeking an experienced Backend Engineer (JavaScript/ TypeScript, Node.js) to develop, deploy, and improve RESTful APIs and web services. The role involves code review, collaboration with other teams, and troubleshooting production issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of coding standards and a commitment to team ownership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information and Communications Technologies, Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or equivalent field.
• Proven hands-on coding experience as a backend developer.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/ TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of code versioning tools (Git).
• Knowledge of RESTful API design principles.
• Experience with Docker and cloud deployment.
