The Data Integrity and Training Analyst will perform data analysis, information management and training for the EPR modules, EMR and chart tracking system. The role involves monitoring data quality, facilitating continuous improvement in patient information, and providing support to other system organization stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a health information services environment with a focus on analysis, data management and the promotion of data quality and integrity.
- Health Information Technologist program diploma required.
- Active membership in the Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA) if applicable.
- Sound understanding of desktop application software and information system applications (e.g., ADT EPR, chart tracking) in order to develop education, provide direction and to work effectively with site contacts and application maintenance teams.
- Demonstrated knowledge of registration and records management practices.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate development, transformation and implementation of business processes and policies.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with Health Information Services, Clinical Programs, eHealth software vendors.
- Demonstrated knowledge of compiling statistical reports.
- Demonstrated knowledge of educational techniques in order to train new or existing employees on systems applications.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation and instructional skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize demands to meet deadlines and achieve defined customer service levels.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the Manitoba Personal Health Information Act.
- Knowledge of emerging provincial/national/international trends in data management and naming conventions.
- Ability to work independently and be confident in decision-making.
