Job Description
CancerCare Manitoba is seeking Senior Mammography Technologists to provide quality service to clients at the Winnipeg and Mobile Screening clinics. The incumbent will work under the supervision of the Operations Manager - BreastCheck and will be responsible for performing mammography services in an effective, efficient, and safe manner.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Radiological Technology education program
- Successful completion of Breast Imaging 1 and Breast Imaging 2 CAMRT courses
- Member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists - Manitoba (CAMRT-MB)
- Compliant with Canadian Association of Radiology (CAR) continuing education requirements for Mammography Technologists
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in working in a Digital Imaging department using RIS, PACS, and EMR systems
- Valid Manitoba Driver’s License
- Ability to work flexible work schedules including weekends & evenings, and willing to travel (drive and fly) to communities across Manitoba
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Good physical health to meet the requirements of the position
- Satisfactory employment record
- Ability to legally work in Canada
